Avalanche Summary

Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. Watch out for wet avalanches on steep slopes in the afternoon. Most of these will be small, but they can still knock you over and drag you down a slope. On sustained, steep slopes, they might grow large enough to bury you if there are terrain traps such as a creek or gully beneath you. The easiest way to reduce your chances of triggering a wet avalanche on Wednesday is to start and end your day early, so you are off steep terrain by the time it gets wet.
