Avalanche Summary

You might be able to trigger a small avalanche where you find deeper drifts of new snow on slopes with previous snow cover. You can find this setup on upper-elevation north-facing terrain adjacent to ridgeline.

Avoid travelling on steep slopes with pockets of snow that crack beneath you. While these avalanches are small and easy to avoid, they could sweep an unsuspecting traveler off their feet and into exposed rocks.

Join the Friends of CAIC on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center for the 18th annual CAIC Benefit Bash - the season's biggest fundraiser for avalanche safety. Tickets are available here <https://breckcreate.org/events/caic-benefit-bash>
