Highlights

DANGEROUS soft slabs two to five feet in depth exist on a variety of steep wind loaded aspects at all elevations. These slabs could be human triggered or could release naturally, particularly in steep wind loaded starting zones. Travel in avalanche terrain at the upper elevations is not recommended today. Good terrain evaluation and route finding skills are essential for safe travel at the mid and lower elevations.
