Highlights

The general avalanche hazard at all elevations is CONSIDERABLE today. Mountain temperatures rose into the 50'S yesterday and only fell into the low 40'S to mid 30'S overnight. This temperature regime has created an unstable snowpack. Human triggered wet loose and wet slab avalanches are likely today on steep snow covered slopes on all aspects and elevations. Cornice drops are also possible.
