Strong winds on Wednesday night and Thursday will drift snow into thick slabs on easterly and southerly slopes. You can trigger avalanches in this drifted snow especially on slopes directly below ridgetop. Look for and avoid harder-feeling snow, especially if you observe long-running shooting cracks.
