Avalanche Summary

You could trigger an avalanche in a wind-drifted terrain feature at upper elevations which breaks into a deeper slide. Snowfall will combine with Southerly winds on Monday to build sensitive slabs on upper-elevation slopes facing west through north tp east. Avalanche conditions will worsen during the day, so use caution anywhere you encounter more than about eight inches of new or drifted snow. Retreat to less-steep terrain or more wind-sheltered areas if you experience cracking in the surface snow. Slopes less than about thirty degrees steepness provide safer options.
