Highlights
Yesterday morning the crown of a spontaneously released slab avalanche estimated to be five feet deep was observed in a very steep cliff area on the south wall of Jensen Canyon. A photograph of this crown will be posted in our snowpack summary later today. At the mid and upper elevations slab avalanches up to five feet in depth have some potential to be human triggered in very steep cliff areas. The potential to trigger these slabs will increase as the day progresses and temperatures warm. At the lower elevations pockets of slab could be human triggered in the afternoon on very steep sunlit aspects.
