Avalanche Discussion
A developing storm system will spread snow into the western mountains late Wednesday night through Thursday. Early indications point to between 1 and 4 inches across the valleys with 4 to 8 inches in the mountains. Some light snow or flurries are possible ahead of the main system Wednesday through Wednesday evening but no accumulation is expected until late Wednesday night or Thursday. On Wednesday southwest winds will increase ahead of an approaching cold front. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW on Wednesday. Avalanches are unlikely.
