Avalanche Discussion

After some light snow and gusty winds this evening a brief break is expected before the next storm brings light snow by late Sunday morning. Mountain temperatures are to reach the mid teens and valley temperatures are to reach the mid thirties. Southwest to West winds are expected to increase to averages near thirty miles per hour on the ridge crests during the snowfall.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Low. Shallow soft slabs could be triggered in steep wind loaded terrain in areas that held snow prior to this storm.
