Regions: Glacier.

Travel conditions are the biggest hazard to backcountry skiers at the moment.

The shallow snowpack is getting less supportive with the cold temps, the days are short (sunset is just after 4 PM), and the nights feel real cold after the warm fall we've just experienced.

Plan accordingly, or better yet just wait patiently for things to get good.
