Highlights
The chance remains for backcountry travellers to trigger surface slabs to three feet in depth in steep wind loaded terrain at the high elevations. The possibility to trigger these slabs and the chance for wet loose slides will increase today on slopes exposed to prolonged periods of sunshine. The snowpack is mostly stable at the lower elevations where avalanches are unlikely.
