Avalanche Discussion
( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. ) The first in a series of systems will move into the area Saturday night into Sunday bringing light to moderate snowfall. Sunday morning lows will be near twenty then rise to the mid twenties during the day. Winds will be northwesterly Saturday night then southwesterly Sunday at 10 to 15 m.p.h.Sun crusts from Saturday should cap all sunlit slopes Sunday morning. Any sun breaks will rapidly heat new snow and soften crusts creating a chance for user triggered wet-loose slides. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Low Sunday.
