Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe from avalanches. Watch out for wind-drifted snow on steep slopes facing east directions just below ridgelines and along the edges of gullies or couloirs. Identify and avoid these wind-drifted slopes to decrease your chances of being caught in an avalanche.
