Highlights

At the mid & upper elevations soft slabs up to 2 feet in depth put in by northwest winds lie upon slick sliding surfaces. Loose snow sluffs are possible on road cuts, cliffs and steep areas at low elevations. At all elevations these slides could be human triggered on steep wind loaded aspects. Good terrain evaluation and route finding skills are essential for safe travel in avalanche prone terrain today.
