Avalanche Summary

Strong winds on Tuesday will build thick slabs of drifted snow on north through southeast-facing slopes that sit directly below ridgetop. These slopes are dangerous not just because of the new drifted snow, but because weak layers are buried 1 to 2 feet in the snowpack. Avoid slopes with drifted snow, especially if you see a slope actively getting loaded.
