Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe . You might be to trigger an avalanche on isolated slopes where slabs of recently wind-drifted snow rest on top of weaker snow below. The most suspect slopes exist on the lee side of ridgelines, below cornices, and in northeasterly-facing gullies and couloirs.

Below treeline where the snow is very weak, be careful on steep slopes where it might be possible to trigger a loose sluff that could take you for a ride.
