Over the last few days six to twelve inches of light density snow has fallen at the Upper elevations. Strong winds have now moved this snow to create soft slabs to two feet in depth near ridgecrests on lee slopes. The new snow rests on smooth crusts and will be easily triggered by backcountry travellers or run naturally. At mid and low elevations, with less snowfall, mostly stable snow rests on all aspects but avoid run-out zones of higher slide paths.
