In the heat of the afternoon the avalanche hazard will increase to MODERATE on sunlight aspects above 9,000 feet where wet loose avalanches lying upon a well developed sun crust could be triggered. Below 9,000', the hazard is LOW as snow depths are shallow and avalanches are unlikely.
