Mindre laussnøskred kan løysast ut der snøen som kom rundt 17. mai blir våt i sola. Skavlbrot og glideskred kan også forekomme, men generelt er det eit stabilt vårleg snødekke.
Snowpack Structure
Snøgrensa varierer i regionen og er høgast i sørvendte hellingar og lengst ut mot kysten. Det er i hovudsak grovkorna smelteomvandla snø, men enkelte stadar kan snøen som kom rundt 17.mai vere finkorna. Snøoverflata frys om natta, og blir fuktig eller våt på dagen.
