Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will remain generally stable, however some isolated areas of windslab will develop, mainly at the tops of steep North-East, East and South-East aspects above 1000m. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will be around 700m during the day before rising above the summits later in the afternoon. Some light precipitation is expected with moderate Westerly winds over the summits. Observed Weather Influences: It has been a mainly dry day with the freezing level around 800m rising later in the afternoon to nearer 1000m. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is mainly shallow and generally stable. Some refreezing has started at higher elevations. The avalanche hazard is Low.
