At altitudes above 1800m above sea level. In the Western and Low Tatras there is a low avalanche danger (1st degree). Unstable snow slabs and pillows may occur locally, mainly under saddles, rock walls, in moguls and steep couloirs.
After a period of warm weather, a crust will form on the surface due to cooling. At altitudes up to 1500 m above sea level there is only a patchy snow cover.
