Forecast Snow Stability: Any new snow will be shallow and inconsequential. Older snow will remain firm and well bonded. Greatest amounts will be found in North to East corries above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will be around 950 metres overnight, lifting above the summits early morning. Light precipitation with both snow and rain expected. Winds, generally South-West overnight, veering to the West and strengthening to gale force by afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: Light snow showers overnight above 850 metres, dry thereafter. Winds were strong from the West. ObservedSnowStability: Isolated new pockets of snow have developed in lee locations on North through East to South-East aspects above 850 metres. These accumulations have had little effect on the older snow which is firm and stable throughout. Greatest snow cover is found on North to East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
