Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will remain moist at all elevations, and continues to stabilise in the mild temperatures. Weaknesses in moist windslab will persist on North-East to South-East aspects above 1000 metres, and will be confined to steep locations such as coire rims, scarp slopes and ridge flanks. Outwith these locations the snowpack will be stable, with greatest amounts to be found on North through East to South-East aspects. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: No precipitation is expected during the forecast period. Winds will mainly from the West backing to the West-South-West, initially storm force, dropping to gale force by morning. The freezing level will be above the summits. Observed Weather Influences: A day of light rain showers at all levels. Winds were predominately from the West-South-West veering Westerly later. The freezing level was above the highest summits from early morning. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is moist at all levels due to a slow thaw. Weaknesses in windslab persist above 900 metres on North-East to South-East aspects in steep locations, where accumulations overlie older consolidated snow. Areas of old snow are confined to coire and plateau areas above 900 metres with patches and ribbons limited to burn lines at lower elevations. The avalanche hazard is Low.
