There is a very shallow snowpack in the Olympics. The storm over the region Saturday night and Sunday will produce mainly rain for the Olympics. We do not expect a significant avalanche danger in all but the highest peaks of the range.

An avalanche forecast for this zone will be issued when the snowpack is deep enough to present widespread avalanche potential.
