Forecast Snow Stability: Mild conditions overnight and tomorrow will maintain a soft and moist snowpack at all levels. The snowpack stability will remain generally good in most locations. Remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing levels staying above summits through the period. Sunday will be mainly dry with some bright sunny spells. Summit winds will be strong and mainly South-Easterly. Observed Weather Influences: Mild conditions have continued to affect the area, the freezing level has remained above the summits. Winds were light from a South-Easterly direction. It was dry and much brighter in the afternoon.
ObservedSnowStability: Greatest snow amounts remain on North to Easterly aspects above 900 metres. The snowpack continues to slowly thaw and diminish at all elevations but it remains generally stable in all locations. Any remaining cornices are fragile and prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard is Low.
