Forecast Snow Stability: The limited snowpack will be well bonded and stable at all altitudes. Greatest amounts will be found on North-West through North to Easterly aspects above 950 metres, especially around coire back walls, ridge flanks and on the plateau. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Snowpack Structure
Forecast Weather Influences: It is expected to be dry throughout the forecast period with strong to gale force South-Westerly winds. The freezing level will be above the summits overnight before it turns cooler during the day. Observed Weather Influences: Occasional light drizzle at all levels. Winds were moderate to strong Westerly in direction. The freezing level was above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The stable snowpack surface is beginning to thaw especially at lower altitudes. Greatest amounts are on North-West through North to Easterly aspects above 950 metres. Elsewhere the ground is mostly bare. The avalanche hazard is Low.
