Wet avalanches are possible. Above approximately 1800 m small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized moist slab avalanches are possible. They can also release the wet snowpack. The avalanche prone locations for wet avalanches are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and on steep grassy slopes. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard crust.

The snowpack remains in most cases subject to considerable local variations. Below approximately 1800 m only a little snow is lying. In gullies and bowls a lot of snow is lying. The snowpack will be well bonded in particular on shady slopes. The weather will be cold. As a consequence of low temperatures a crust will form on the surface. The conditions will foster a slight weakening of the near-surface layers in particular in high Alpine regions.
