Regions

Glacier.

A widespread surface crust is making the riding pretty tricky in most places.

The best turns will be found where the crust is thin and breaking down on high north aspects.

Use caution and give yourself extra time for the ski outs.

Avalanche Summary

There has been no natural avalanche activity in the last few days in the park. Explosive testing on Monday produced minimal results.

Snowpack Summary

A breakable surface crust exists on all but high north facing alpine slopes. Some riders are reporting a spring-like melt-freeze corn cycle on solar slopes, but that has been variable.

The mid and lower snowpacks are well settled and strong. There is a small layer of surface hoar down ~1m, but it has not been reactive recently and continues to break down.

A stable weather pattern will persist for the forecast period. Expect cool temps and no new snow.
