Avalanche Summary

Most terrain in this area is safe from avalanches due to the lack of snow. New snow is not enough to increase the avalanche danger, but winds could form small pockets of drifted snow below ridgelines in the alpine.

Look for and avoid these drifted pockets around rocky outcrops and in cross-loaded couloirs. Even a small avalanche can take you for a nasty ride in extreme terrain.
