Avalanche Summary

The snowpack is stabilizing, and it is becoming harder to trigger avalanches. The most avalanche-prone slopes are steep and exposed with uneven snow coverage and large rocks protruding from the snowpack. Previous scoured north and northwest-facing slopes near ridgetop, fit this description. To lower your risk of avalanches, choose slopes with a consistently deep snowpack, and avoid slopes that end in terrain traps.
