Avalanche Summary

Steep easterly-facing slopes where drifted snow accumulated below a ridgeline or bowl-shaped feature are the most likely places to trigger an avalanche. Be wary of any slope where you experience a large collapse. Recent slabs formed over weak snow below will take time to heal. Managing terrain and sticking to lower-angle slopes is the best way to avoid being caught in a dangerous slide.
