Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions will worsen throughout the day. If you are traveling in avalanche terrain, start and end your day early to reduce your chances of being caught in a wet avalanche. If you start sinking deep into wet snow while traveling, it is either too late in the day or that area did not get a good overnight freeze, so avoid traveling on steep, consequential slopes.
