Avalanche Summary

Triggering an avalanche is becoming increasingly more difficult. The remaining hazard spots are where you find a stiff slab of wind-packed snow sitting over weaker snow. These areas will feel stiff and sound hollow and are isolated on steep alpine slopes.

Late in the day, you may find small loose avalanche activity on sunny slopes. Rollerballs are a sign to move off warming slopes.
