Highlights
At the Mid and High elevations slabs to two feet in depth could be triggered by backcountry travellers on steep slopes. These slabs formed during the recent storm which was accompanied by very strong winds. Saturday a skier was partially buried and injured in a slide in No Name Canyon on a southeast facing slope at 9000 feet. The snowpack will become less stable during the day with warm forecasted temperatures. At LOW elevations isolated pockets could be released in very steep, wind loaded terrain.
