Highlights
Surface slabs up to eighteen inches in depth rest at mid and upper elevations. These slabs lie upon lower density snow and slick hard crusts and could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones. Small pockets were skier released yesterday in cross loaded areas at and above 9500 feet on various aspects. Warm low elevation temperatures continue to heat the snowpack and the posibility for wet slide activity in steep terrain will increase.
