Highlights

The general avalanche hazard is LOW in the early morning hours and will increase to MODERATE as temperatures rise. Mostly stable snow exists on all aspects and elevations this morning. However, as the day warms the snowpack will weaken and dangerous wet, loose slides will be possible on steep slopes. These slides may run naturally or be easily triggered by riders. Stay off damp snow in steep areas and avoid terrain traps and avalanche runout zones.
