Most slopes are safe from avalanches, but you could still trigger an avalanche in some areas. The most likely place is where wind has drifted recent storm snow into cohesive slabs. You will most likely find these slabs at upper elevations in cross-loaded terrain features and on leeward slopes below ridgelines.
