Highlights

At the upper elevations pockets of soft slab up to 4' in depth lie on steep wind loaded slopes and cliff areas. These slabs have the potential to pull out deeper weak layers to the ground. Yesterday a 4' slab was triggered at 10,300' on the North Ridge of Rendezvous Mtn. with an explosive. The danger at all elevations, particularly the upper elevations, will increase today as the weather clears and warms the snowpack.
