Highlights

At the upper elevations pockets of soft slab up to 18 inches in depth and loose snow sluffs could be triggered in steep wind loaded starting zones. Loose snow sluffs and isolated pockets of soft slab exist at the mid elevations and could be triggered in very steep terrain. Avalanches are unlikely at the lower elevations. A significant increase in ridgetop winds would increase the hazard today.
