Forecast Snow Stability: Areas of unstable windslab will be found on South-West through West to North aspects above 900 metres. Locations most affected, but not confined to will be gullies, gully tops, coire rims and other wind sheltered locations, especially where depth is gained. Fragile cornices will be found on the same aspects. The old snow pack will be icy and well bonded throughout. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: No precipitation is forecast with the freezing level steady at 500 metres. Strong Easterly winds will prevail veering East-South-Easterly during the morning. Observed Weather Influences: Overnight snowfall down to glen level with light snow flurries throughout the day. Winds were strong from the East. The freezing level was around 600 metres at midday. ObservedSnowStability: Unstable windslab has developed on South-West through West to North aspects above 900 metres. Wind sheltered areas are most affected especially gullies, gully tops, crag aprons and coire rims. Fragile cornices are also present on the same aspects. The old snow pack is icy with good stability throughout. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
