Weather Forecast
Clouds will move in tonight and winds will increase to moderate from the SW at upper elevations. Scattered flurries will start on Thursday (5 cm for the day) and freezing levels will climb to 1800 m with the passage of the front. Expect generally unsettled weather for the next several days, but snow accumulation so far is forecasted to be light.
Snowpack Summary
Surface hoar, suncrust and surface facets have formed during the past few days. Surface hoar up to 20mm exists up to 1800m in the Sunshine area. Above 1800m, due south facing terrain is baked into suncrust from the recent sun and warm temps aloft. All other aspects are soft facets. Snowpack depth is 80-100cm, with no significant weak layers.
