Forecast Snow Stability: The snow cover will be well consolidated and stable. New snow amounts during the night are forecast to be small and are not expected to be significant. During the day the snow cover will continue to thaw and diminish. Greatest accumulations will remain in sheltered areas such as coire rims and gullies, predominately on North-East to South-East aspects above 900 metres. Very patchy elsewhere. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Some light snow showers above 900 metres during the early part of the night before clearing to give a dry morning. This will be followed by rain at all levels from around midday. The freezing level will be around 900 metres during the early part of the night rising above the summits by morning. Moderate Westerly winds will back to become West-South-Westerly and increase in strength slightly through the day.

Observed Weather Influences: A mainly dry windy day. The freezing level dropped to around 900 metres. Winds were very strong West-North-Westerly.

ObservedSnowStability: The remaining snow cover is consolidating and stable. Above 900 metres the snow is starting to gradually refreeze, at lower elevations it continues to thaw and diminish. Greatest accumulations remain around coire rims and in gullies on North-East to South-East aspects above 900 metres, very patchy elsewhere. The avalanche hazard is Low.
