The Nov. 7 surface hoar layer is now burred by 80-100cm of snow. This layer is becoming slightly less reactive, but is still capable of propagating widely, especially where winds have created a firm slab.

Loose Dry

Wind slabs from last week's storm were buried last night by 20cm of snow with light winds. There is considerable snow available for wind loading, especially at higher elevations.
