Snow is beginning to accumulate in the alpine. Watch for small pockets of wind slab in isolated areas over the next few weeks, and loose snow avalanches in steep gullies following new snow or wind events. Glacier travel is becoming tricky with thinly bridged crevasses due to recent snowfalls.
