New snow above approximately 1300 m. The fresh snow as well as the wind slabs are bonding poorly with the old snowpack. New snow and wind slabs can to an increasing extent be released, even by a single winter sport participant. This applies in particular in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation. Slab avalanches and dry slab avalanches are the main danger. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack at high altitude. Especially on steep north, northeast and northwest facing slopes the dry avalanches can be released in deep layers of the snowpack and reach large size in some cases. Some mostly small natural avalanches are possible.
The fresh snow as well as the wind slabs are bonding poorly with the old snowpack. The fresh snow and the wind slabs will be deposited on a crust in particular on south to southwest to southeast facing aspects and at low and intermediate altitudes. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack especially on north, northeast and northwest facing slopes.
