In particular in gullies and bowls and behind abrupt changes in the terrain easily released wind slabs formed. The solar radiation will give rise as the day progresses to increasing softening of the snowpack over a wide area especially at low and intermediate altitudes. The spring-like weather conditions gave rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack over a wide area.

Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be moist in the southeast and in the southwest.
