At 5 am the freezing level was around 9,000 feet. Upper elevation temperatures are near 30 degrees and forecast to rise into the 40's. Mid elevations temperatures are in the 30's and forecast to rise into the 40's. Temperatures are well above freezing at the lower elevations and forecast to rise into the 50's. Warm temperatures and rain showers will increase the wet snow avalanche hazard. Wet slides will be a possibility on very steep terrain features during the warmest portion of the day. Avoid steep terrain if snow surfaces are wet and unconsolidated. This will the last avalanche forecast of the season. Thank you for your support and observations.
