We toured out from incline Lake past Ginny Lake, leaving the vehicles at 8:30 in the morning. There were obvious signs of blowing snow and up on the ridge. It was still blowing quite hard. When we stopped for lunch dug a quick pit. There are multiple layers of consolidated snow over crust. The new snow measured approximately 30 cm and it was on top of a 5 cm cross that had rotten snow below it, then another 20 cm to another crust with rotten snow right below that then finally 15 cm down to a third crust also with rotten snow right below it. We didn’t dig any deeper but the snow measured just about 3 meters. Up on the register, large cornice and we were easily able to collapse a cornice above a safe slope. It triggered a short slide with the surface snow, which was about 20 cm deep in this area, slightly south facing
