Observation: Mt Nebo Loop Road

There is definitely a settling happening on the mountain the last couple of days with the sun out and temps up. Lots of roller balls on southern faces, lots of settling cones around trees and other objects. Southern faces were quite hard first thing then became soggy as the day went on. Surface hore is growing and is pretty widespread. I hoped into a trench and checked out the snow structure real quick and there main body is still ver supportable and bonded. But the top 3-4" is faceted surface hore with a thin crust just under that. This may pose a problem when loaded during the next coming storm.
