No signs of instability, but some areas where it was easy to punch through the top layer of crust. Minimal new snow accumulation, less than 0.5 inches. Gorgeous day, minimal winds, no signs of snow transport. Surface warming noticeable, but no signs of wet-loose risk. Traveled cautiously in a new area. No signs of instability, but I was also moving cautiously in relatively safe avalanche terrain (<30 degrees).
